Reptile owners, especially since we have lights/incubators/heating, on all day for our reptiles while we are out of the house and we could all lose everything. There are many steps you can take for preventing this to happening to you.

• Use the correct wattage that the light dome is rated for.
• UVA, UVB, Night, and Heat lighting fixtures on Timers.
• Check your bulbs for any scorch or burn marks.
• Make sure to hang or Clamp Lights, do not place on the tank directly
• Do not "Daisy Chain" lighting fixtures with extension cords.
