What's going on in our Community
SERVPRO of Winston Salem North
SERVPRO of Winston Salem North takes great pride in being a part of the Winston Salem North community. We understand that communities like ours hold America together. We want to do our part to ensure the Winston Salem North community thrives by helping those less fortunate, keeping the area safe, and making our community the best it can be.
We have had the honor of partnering with The Children's Law Center of Central North Carolina over the past few years.
The mission of the Children's Law Center of Central North Carolina (CLC) is to provide children with quality legal advocacy focusing on domestic violence issues, high conflict custody cases, and ensuring access to education. Our ultimate goal is to enable children to grow up in safe environments and to become emotionally healthy adults. We are committed to making Forsyth County and Central North Carolina a safer place for children - one family at a time.

We have also had the privilege of partnering with The Forsyth Humane Society.
It’s hard to imagine life without your pet once you find them. At Forsyth Humane Society, you can be a life-changer, too. With their goal of increasing the save rate of all shelter cats and dogs in the county from 36% to 90% by 2023, FHS is committed to changing the future of animal welfare in our community. In 2020, the save rate has increased to 75%. You can help, too. Adopt, foster, volunteer, or donate and help us save more lives.
One of our favorite events to be a part of each year is the Furr Ball. Furr Ball raises funds to support adoption, foster, transport, and community outreach programs. Together, we can reach a 90% save rate for our shelter cats and dogs by 2023 and #SAVEFURSYTH.
One of our longest partnerships has been with The Carolina Thunderbirds (2019 FPHL Commissioner's Cup Champions). Professional ice hockey has been a part of the Winston-Salem community on and off since 1973 when the Polar Twins played in the Southern Hockey League. The city last saw a full-time tenant during the 2008-09 hockey season. Winston- Salem based teams have all averaged a minimum of 1100 fans a game. There is also a strong youth hockey, college club, and other ice user programs presented in the Triad.
If we are not on the ice cheering on our Carolina Thunderbirds then we are at the Truist Stadium supporting our Winston Salem Dash. The Winston-Salem Dash is the proud Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. They are also committed to making a positive impact in our community and providing in-kind donations to hundreds of organizations each year. The Dash is proud to announce its Charity Partner this year, the Chris Paul Family Foundation. A local non-profit organization, the Chris Paul Family Foundation strives to provide resources that enrich and strengthen healthy development of strong communities.
One of our newest partnerships is with Bowman Gray Stadium. Bowman Gray Stadium is NASCAR's very first weekly track, a famed quarter-mile where the sound of roaring engines and cheering fans has been heard since 1949. Today, a new generation of legends races at Bowman Gray. This season, future Hall-of-Famers may be taking the checkered flag, giants of racing whetting their appetites at the longest-running weekly track in all of NASCAR.
